Having
been a frequent visitor to the area since a child,
fishing on the surf, clamming in the sound, July 4th,
sailing and boating, watching the Oak Island Bridge
being built and even the hermit that lived on the
island side, I knew someday I would enjoy living here.
People visit Brunswick County and they either don’t
leave, come back often or they move here later! After
15 years in corporate sales of everything from elevator
rope, lifting slings, chain, synthetic rope, security
software, cameras and systems, pesticides, herbicides
and more, I knew there was something that everybody
needed and was a very wise investment. There is something
where I would be working with all types of people
with a variety of needs. I decided for me it was Real
Estate. I moved to Oak Island, after visiting for
over 35 years, in February 2002 and have been a resident
of both the island and Southport. I immediately earned
my Sales Agent License as well as further studies
for my Broker’s License for North Carolina.
Teaming with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty has
allowed me to work with one of the top Coldwell Banker
affiliates in North Carolina as well as the country.
Working with home buyers, land buyers, developers
and investors, I have been successful at connecting
them with the right property for their situation.
I have handled homes, land and even a local development,
from the initial stages all the way through a lengthy
due diligence and closing. Turtlewood at Southport
was my first community I helped to locate, analyze,
develop and market. The successes of Turtlewood
at Southport reflect my hard work, knowledge
and dedication to my clients and that seen by current
clients. Whether your plans involve larger development
land, a lot on the water or a home for retirement
or sooner, I can help find you the property that works.
I have excellent contacts within a large group of
local and national mortgage companies and banks, custom
homebuilders, land developers, attorneys and both
commercial and residential investors. I would be happy
to help you or your group with their real estate investment
. . . . . because it really is an investment for the
long term. My expertise, local knowledge, contacts
and hard work can help simplify and ease the process
for you, regardless of where you are located. Give
me or my business partner, Conrad Naef, a call and
we’ll show you how we can help. We look forward
to seeing you in the area!

My
dear friends, if we are going to do business together
in a way that will effect where and possibly how you
and your family will live, you should know a little
about me first. I choose to live in Southport, N.
C. because my wife and I love it here. So do my daughter
and three grandchildren. Prior to coming here we lived
in Colorado Springs, Colorado which is also a fine
place to live, but doesn't’t have some of the
best things that the Southport area does. And this
is America – isn't’t it great! Only in
America do we have the freedom to make the choices
that are best for our families. I humbly thank God
for this. I have worked all my life, and have degrees
in Accounting, Data Processing, and Marketing. Having
worked 30 years for IBM and traveled on business from
France to Japan doing a myriad of things for IBM,
I retired and spent another 9 years consulting to
Fortune 500 companies and dealing in real estate rentals
and residential homes. Then I came to North Carolina
and decided to do what I like best. I Help People
get what they want related to where and how they live.
When my clients are satisfied and happy, I’ve
accomplished my goal. I am now a multi-million dollar
producer and Licensed Real Estate Broker in North
Carolina, and am pleased that I’ve helped a
lot of folks. My latest project involves a brand new
50 home site community called Turtlewood in the Town
of Southport. My partner Palmer Watkins and I are
Brokers of this wonderful new community, one that
is very near town and the Southport Ferry. We would
love to have you visit us at our new development on
East Moore Street or at our new website (Turtlewood
at Southport). Come on down – you’ll
be glad you did.
Regards, Conrad
