'We cannot believe that people have stayed here who went out in the canoe at 3:00 a.m.! A great tribute to Annette & Dieter's easy hospitality. We cancelled our cruise after our first night in the "nest". The next seven days were filled with wonderful Vancouver Island day trips that were absolutely breathtaking. If you are only here for three days then you need to come back right away for another week. Every day has been a new adventure and it was because we listened to Dieter & wrote it down. This is paradise and we have found it. Thank you so much Annette & Dieter, our new & great BC friends. '

'Wow! How relaxing and peaceful can one place be? We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The estuary provided a peaceful setting to observe the natural beauty of Canada. I've never seen so many sand dollars in one place. I look forward to another visit some day '

'Thank you for all your hospitality. My son, Hunter, and I had a wonderful day paddling on the lagoon, whale watching, and eating at the restaurants you recommended. Thanks so much for your wonderful breakfasts as well! We enjoyed visiting with Montgomery, Emily and Square Root and seeing all the birds. Thank you for all your kindness. The weather has been wonderful. Don't look forward to returning to the heat of Texas.'

'Thank you so much for making our "second honeymoon" (25th Anniversary) so memorable. When my daughter Ainsley and I were here 2 years ago we could see that this was a very special place, and I was delighted to be able to bring my husband Allan here. Your kindness, great cooking, and friendly advice were very much appreciated by both of us. See you again !! '
