Hawaii Marine provides admiralty and maritime expert witness services for both plaintiff and defense lawyers.  Human factors engineering (marine ergonomics) principles are normally applied in passenger, crew and stevedore personal injury cases.  Product liability cases are also taken on a case by case basis.  Structure and stability are an examples of specialty areas with respect to product liability cases. 

Documentation normally includes opinions, referencing and citing appropriate marine industry and safety standards, scene photography, scaled scene drawings, research and calculations (as appropriate).  Services often includes forensic marine surveying, accident documentation and reconstruction. 

These services are available nationwide and can include deposition and trial testimony.  Experience includes work on passenger vessels, tugs, barges, catamarans and fish boats.  Familiarity includes vessels associated with commercial (passenger and freight), military (Navy, Coast Guard), public (research vessels) and private sectors (yachts and motor boats) of the maritime industry.
