This is a small historic
C17th French chateau on the edge of a peaceful rural farming hamlet, in the
Perigord/Limousin National Park of the Dordogne, well away from all busy
roads and set in grounds of two and a half acres, which give complete
privacy, with its own large swimming pool in a sunny walled in garden.
Architecturally interesting, it was built as a country manor house by a
lawyer to Louis XIIIth.
The Chateau sleeps eight in comfort and luxury with two double and two twin
bedrooms with two bathrooms and one shower room. There is a spacious modern
kitchen, dining room, large sitting room and smaller library. The chateau
surrounds a large internal courtyard which in turn shelters an ancient Lime
tree. The local Dordogne countryside is undulating, wooded and almost
totally unspoilt.
