| An attractive complex of 3 charming gites, lovingly restored from barns and chais (wine stores), set in a hamlet surrounded by vineyards and sunflowers in the gentle rolling hills of the Charente on its border with the Charente Maritime. Full of character features including beautiful beams and exposed stonework, the gites have been refurbished in 2004 and have all new equipment and furniture. They are set in large attractive lawned gardens with a 6mx12m fenced pool. One gite sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms (2 shower rooms and WCs), and the other two sleep 2 each (all gites have room for a cot or a single folding bed). Each is completely self-contained and has its own sunny, secluded, patio with BBQ and are suitable for both individual lets and for extended family holidays/groups of friends travelling together, giving a total capacity of 10/12 (at reduced prices - please enquire with owners). Good shops and restaurants less than 10 minutes away. |

| Le Moulin de Malineau is situated in the south of the Charente-Maritime in Cognac country, the second sunniest area in France. We offer two comfortable 3 bedroomed Gites (Monet and Matisse) with full facilities each accommodating up to 10 people.
Within the 4 acres of tranquil landscaped gardens, including peach, cherry, apple, fig trees and many established shrubs, there is a large pond/lake stocked with Carp. Fishing rods available. There is a small river frequented by the local kingfisher, and ample space for picnics and seclusion.
There is an enclosed heated pool, in addition to a children's play area that includes swings, slide and sand pit. A Crazy Golf course and Wendy house are planned for 2006, along with a large communal barbecue area.
We live on site and will do everything we can to make your stay enjoyable. Because we have children ourselves we understand you may have special requirements such as baby baths, toys etc. and will endeavour to meet all requirements that we know we would want if we were away from home.
What more could you want in this totally relaxing environment, and I haven't even mentioned the Buzzards, Sparrowhawks, Hen Harriers, Barn and Tawny Owls, Bats, Nightingales, Lizards.

The airports at La Rochelle and Bordeaux are an hour’s drive away via the A10 motorway which connects directly to both airports. Numerous ferry ports also link to the A10 motorway. La Forge is 15 minutes from exits 35 and 36 of the A10.
The historic towns of Saintes and Cognac are close by and fine sandy beaches and coves are 40 minutes away.
