My kid is older, Do i need a Booster Car Seat ?

Booster Seats are recommended for children who are over 40 lbs. and more than four years old but are less than 5 ft to use the regular car seat, booster car seats give children the right fit with the regular seatbelt. & ensure that they are positioned properly.

Booster seats are just smaller sized car seats but made with the child in mind. They are slightly raised to ensure that the car seat belt is effective.

It is best to keep kids in a forward facing 5-pt-harness car seat for as long as they fit comfortably in it.

  • Belt-positioning boosters – Shoulder belts & lap Belts are used to hold the child, when seated on a booster seat.

  • High Backed booster with 5 point harness - This type of seat attaches to the vehicle using LATCH or the existing seat belt.

  • Shield boosters - These boosters are designed to be used in conjunction with lap belts.
