From the South:

Take U.S. 101 to San Luis Obispo and exit at Los Osos Valley Road.  Go west for 12 miles of farmland to South Bay Blvd.  Turn right at South Bay Blvd.  Go north one mile (second light) to Santa Ysabel.  Turn left and drive 18 blocks to 2nd Street. Turn left and go to the water. The Back Bay Inn is on your right adjacent to the pier and behind the coffee shop.

FROM THE L.A. AREA (hwy 101 north) TAKE THE LOS OSOS VALLEY ROAD EXIT (1^st of 10 San Luis Obispo exits) turn left and drive 12 MILES (8 miles of it is farmland) TO SOUTH BAY BLVD. (CLICK BELOW)

From the North: (two routes)

Take the U.S. 101 to State Highway 46 WEST at Paso Robles (the 46 WEST. exit is 2 miles south of 46 East exit)  and go west (about 20 miles) to State Highway 1 on the coast. Turn left south on State Hwy.1 (about 22 miles) to Morro Bay. Continue on Hwy. 1 southbound one mile past Morro Bay to the Los Osos/Baywood Park exit. Turn right and follow South Bay Blvd (along the waterfront) for 2 miles to Santa Ysabel.  Turn right and drive 18 blocks to 2nd Street. Turn left and go to the end of 2nd. The Back Bay Inn is on your right adjacent to the pier, behind the coffee shop. Alternately: You can take Hwy 41 west out of Atascadero to meet the coastal Hwy 1, however, the road is far more difficult to drive due to many curves. It's great for a sports car...We recommend Hwy. 46 for a safer trip.

FROM THE BAY AREA (hwy 101 south) TAKE HWY.46 WEST FROM PASO ROBLES TO THE COAST HWY.1 Then South past Morro Bay exits to Los Osos/Baywood Park exit. Take South Bay Blvd.  (BELOW)
