Lake Taneycomo
Activities on and around Lake Taneycomo in Branson, Missouri are seemingly endless. They include boating, sailing, hunting, hiking, scuba diving, and, of course, fishing. Public full-service marinas provide boats, motors, guides, tackle and pontoons for relaxing and fun filled days.
Lake Taneycomo flows right through historic downtown Branson. The newly renovated riverfront features a seawall with wide sidewalks, park benches, public fishing docks, a picnic area, swimming pool, tennis courts, and playgrounds.
You can even relax and enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride. If you want to enjoy the lake but leave the piloting to someone else, you can board the Sammy Lane Pirate Cruise for a 70 minute folklore adventure or the Lake Queen for sight-seeing, breakfast, lunch or dinner cruises.

Although technically a lake, it has the look and feel of a river. Since the completion of Table Rock Dam in 1958, the physiology of the lake changed to a cold water fishery. Lake Taneycomo now has a reputation as one of the finest trout fishing reservoirs in the nation. The cold, clear water combined with the Shepherd of the Hills Trout Hatchery has made it the perfect spot for rainbow and brown trout.About 80% of the 1,200,000 trout raised at the hatchery each year are released into Taneycomo. The upper 3 miles is a favorite for fly-fishing and waders. There is an artificial lure only regulation along with slot length limit on rainbow trout. The rest of Taneycomo has no length restrictions for rainbow and anglers can use any type of bait under state wide regulations. Fishing continues to be great as you float down Lake Taneycomo past Rock-a-way Beach and to its end near Forsyth at the Powersite Dam.
Table Rock Lake
Table Rock Lake's clear waters have been attracting visitors for years. With nearly 800 miles of shoreline, Table Rock Lake is nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountain terrain, making it one of the most scenic and popular lakes in the country. The completion of Table Rock Dam on the White River in 1958 brought hydoelectric power to the area and created today's 52,300 acre lake.
The clear waters of the lake have made it a playground for visitors nationwide. Access to the water is easy and you can swim, ski, boat, sail, scuba dive, jet ski, parasail, and, of course, fish. Table Rock Lake is a fisherman's dream come true. Anglers of all levels of experience find this lake ideal. Table Rock is well known as a top bass fishing lake with large numbers of largemouth, smallmouth, Kentucky spotted, and white bass. Crappie anglers will also have good luck concentrating around submerged timber. Although not as popular, anglers still like to fish for walleye, channel and flathead catfish, bluegill and paddlefish.

Bull Shoals Lake
Bull Shoals Lake is a popular tournament lake producing lunker fish of several varieties including stripers over 50 pounds. Small mouth and spotted bass along with crappie, bream, and catfish can also be found. Record catches on Bull Shoals include a 5 lb.,5 oz. white bass, a 13 lb.,14 oz. largemouth bass, and a 21 lb., 1oz. walleye.
Bull Shoals Lake flows from Forsyth into Arkansas and features a rugged undeveloped shoreline. It is a perfect place to slow down and escape from everyday life. Bull Shoals offers a variety of water activities and public access points to the lake for fishing and recreation. Houseboats rentals are available for a truly relaxing getaway.
