City of Vancouver Archives

"Wintertime Frolicking" is now available in our new online exhibits section.

The City of Vancouver Archives, a division of the City Clerk's Department, is responsible for acquiring, organizing and preserving Vancouver's historical records and making them available to the widest possible audience.

Our holdings include:

  • City of Vancouver government records (public records)

  • Records of non-government organizations, businesses and individuals (private records)

  • Visual records including historic photographs, maps, etc.

If you would like to find historical information about Vancouver, please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with our holdings by searching our online database.
