The fastest and easiest way to travel to Amsterdam is by train. You can take a train under Schiphol Plaza, in the central hall of the Terminal. NS (Dutch Railways) ticket desks and ticket machines are located in the terminal building. At weekends and on public holidays, trains run on different timetables.
