The garden is laid to lawn with patio and BBQ facilities. There is a basement which has a laundry room, fitted with a new washing machine. the oil fired boiler is also in the basement which supplies ample hot water. There is a roof/loft area, but to date is undeveloped other than a large bay window facing South. Almost everything in the house is new, beds matresses, pillows, duvets, all kitchen units, tv etc, and the house is completely internally redecorated. |

We are 4 kms from the nearest town, St Brice-en-Cogles which has an excellent supermarkets and many smaller shops. There are also plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area. The gites are available to rent all year round and have excellent heating for winter lets. Please note we do not oversell the occupancy - there is a bed available for every place advertised, we do not include sofa beds in the occupancy, although all the cottages do have them. |

La Bergerie has a beautifully furnished living/dining room and separate catering kitchen. Ty Cidre, a converted, thatched, cider barn, in the same grounds, a delightful complement to the two farmhouse gites and perfect for 2. For the energetic, there is a 10mx5m heated swimming pool (with sliding dome cover for extra security), boules court, garden badminton and table tennis and an indoor tennis court in the village. All this set in 3 acres of rambling garden in the Valley of the River Blavet, an enchanting region any time of the year for walking, cycling, fishing, relaxing or exploring. The beautiful inland sea of the Golfe du Morbihan, pretty bays, beaches and many places of interest are all within easy reach. You will have freedom to wander throughout the estate. Explore the nature trails. Picnic tables provided to enjoy the atmosphere. Relax and unwind in unspoilt countryside. Roam down the track to the fields, through the oak glade and then return along the canal to your own holiday cottage.
The canal creates an atmosphere of tranquillity along it's way and is bordered by a well maintained towpath which forms a safe and picturesque cycle and walkway to enjoy at your leisure. It also forms an ideal backdrop for fishing and birdwatching.
Each cottage has a private garden with BBQ and garden furniture. A neverending supply of refreshing water from our very own spring which never runs dry. Particularly refreshing on a hot summer day. The english owners are on hand to advise and help point you in the right direction to ensure that your stay is tailored to your individual requirements. |
