The Big Fish Story |
Father outfishes the son - Again! - This chartered fishing trip in Virginia Beach was actually a bachelor party on the water. This was somebody's last fishing trip as a free man, anybody remember how nice that used to be? Don't know if they had a bachelor party dancer on board, that is top secret info so we will just talk about the fishing because we wouldn't want to speculate and get somebody in trouble. On board was Seldon, Matt, Jeff, John, Roger, and Barrett.
The crew left out of Rudee Inlet in the capable hands of Captain Joe, the well known charter Captain of the the classiest sportfishing vessel in Virginia Beach, the Miss Behaven. Captain Joe headed for the "cigar", a local hotspot off the Virginia Coast to start what would turn out to be a great day of yellowfin tuna fishing. With a crew of 6 everybody got to catch a couple Tuna with Seldon, this month's angler, catching the biggest tuna of the day and in so showing up all the "young fellas" who all at one time or another laid claim to being a "Master Angler." By catching a nice 50 pound yellowfin it looks like Seldon was the master angler today showing up the rest of the crew including his own son Matt. Well, I'm sure Matt didn't mind lettin Dad have the spotlight and taking home the title of Master Angler of the day.
