Stephen Kaestner

Stephen started commercial raft guiding in 1991 in Maine on the Kennebec and Dead Rivers. During this time, he also guided a supply raft down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. He took a few years off of river guiding in order to attend culinary school. He loves to display his skills on our overnight camping trips, complete with Dutch-Oven desserts.

Stephen is currently working on a German Language major to add to his previous degree in Philosophy. As you can see, he knows how to choose high paying fields of work! This is Stephen's third season with RKRA.
