Rogue Klamath River Adventures provides everything you need for an unforgettable day of rafting. We take care of all necessary equipment and gear, cold weather clothing and food. You just need to wear river clothes and bring your camera! *

Below are some frequently asked questions and our suggestions.

If you don't see the answer to your question, or if you need further information, please call us at: (1-800-231-0769) or e-mail us at: info@rogueklamath.com and we will be happy to provide you with all the information you will need to prepare for your river adventure.

What will the weather be like?
The summers in Southern Oregon are traditionally very hot, with temperatures reaching upwards of 90 degrees. However, weather can be unpredictable and a thunderstorm may occur at any time. In case of inclement weather or cool mornings, we will provide wet suits, booties and paddle jackets to help keep you comfortable at no charge.

What should I wear?
We suggest you wear shorts, or a swim suit, bring a cotton shirt or sweatshirt, sunglasses, visor or cap, sunscreen and tie-backs for glasses. We request that you wear good-quality water footwear, preferably rafting shoes or well constructed sandals that strap on your feet. Please keep in mind that you will get wet!!

What should I bring for overnight trips?
Overnight lodge trips only require you to bring your personal items and changes of clothing. Camp trips need tents, sleeping bags, pad, jeans, sweats, fleece jacket, flashlight, briefs, dry shoes, small towel, socks, water proof camera, fishing gear and license.

*Is there room for a camera?
All of our rafts are equipped with dry bags in which you may keep small items such as chap stick, cameras, wallets, etc. They will be strapped to the rafts and will be accessible at all times. We do caution you that these bags, in spite of their name, tend not to be completely waterproof and we recommend that you do not bring expensive cameras or video equipment.

What if I am on a special diet?
We will be providing a continental breakfast and full buffet lunch on the day of your trip. Our breakfast usually consists of melon, bagels, homemade blueberry muffins and coffee. After about 2 hours of rafting, we will stop for a light snack before entering Hell's Corner Canyon.

We provide a gourmet deli-style lunch. Our home made brownies, water and lemonade are also served.

If any member of your party has special dietary needs, just let us know your preferences a few days before the trip and we will make every effort to accommodate them.

Please Note: The Bureau of Land Management requires a 3% use fee on federally regulated rivers which applies to all trips.
