Rogue River

The 'Wild & Scenic' Rogue River is one of the West's most famous and enchanting waterways. A Pacific Coast wonderland of deep green pools, lush forests, and sparkling waterfalls.

Dark forests shelter an abundance of wildlife, while the river itself has long been famous for world-class fishing and white water rafting.

From its headwaters along the crest of the Cascade Range near Crater Lake, the Rogue runs generally west for 200 miles to the Pacific Ocean.

Half Day White Water - Rogue River

Our half-day whitewater trip on the "Wild & Scenic' Rogue River is a great introduction to whitewater rafting and one of our most popular trips. The put-in location is just below Gold Rey Dam about 7 miles upriver from the tiny town of Gold Hill.

This section of the river offers two thrilling Class IV rapids, many other smaller rapids and even a few surprises! Our 1/2 day Rogue Whitewater Trip is longer and offers more rapids than our competitors. Your time on the water is about 2 hours and 45 minutes - a great taste of whitewater adventure with plenty of time left in your day to enjoy some of the other sights of Southern Oregon.

Young children are welcome on this trip - making it a perfect adventure for the whole family. (Our friendly shuttle driver can escort younger rafters around the two larger rapids.)

Half-day trips include transportation, equipment, and a snack of chips and our homemade salsa, veggies, dip and cookies or brownies. Lemonade, soda pop and iced tea.
