Crater Lake National Park

Crater Lake National Park is a short drive and a 'must see' for anyone visiting the area. At 1,958 ft. (597m), Crater Lake is the 7th deepest lake in the world.

Crater Lake was declared a National Park in 1907 making it the 7th National Park in the United States. The park is approximately 183,224 acres and is Oregon's only National Park.

Historic Jacksonville

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and named one of 12 Distinctive Destinations by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Jacksonville offers a beautiful natural setting and 100 historic buildings and landmarks woven into the scenic landscape.

Jacksonville is also home to the Britt Festivals, an annual music festival with nationally renowned classical, jazz and contemporary programs.

Oregon Shakespeare Festival

Nearby Ashland is home to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the nation's oldest and largest theatre in rotating reperatory.

Classic and contemporary drama is presented in three unique theatres from mid-February to October every year.
