There are a lot of sites on the web mocking Chavs, and this is one of 'em! Why bother when sites like ChavScum are doing a great job already? Consensus, of course. When many voices become one, the beautiful chorus of chav-bashing will ring true and clear.
It's a bit difficult to explain what a Chav is, but lucky for us, Chav has recently entered the Oxford dictionary. Chav: "A young person, often without a high level of education, who follows a particular fashion…Chavs usually wear designer labels, and if they're girls, very short skirts and stilettos. Chavs still see branded baseball caps as a status symbol and wear them at every opportunity." But of course this doesn't come close to truly defining a Chav.
The operative word here is Burberry. Chavs love Burberry so much that the sods have basically transformed a once-exclusive brand into a disgraceful joke. Other than the plaid checks (most hideously found on baseball cap), Chavs can be found in casual sportswear i.e. track suits, and copious amounts jewelry, which is of low quality made up for by massive quantity. More than following a particular fashion, Chavs also follow a certain lifestyle characterized by an overindulgence in drink, dope, fags and the telly and largely revolving around JD Sports and McDonalds restaurants.
