 The UKHO is pleased to announce its acquisition of SevenCs, the highly respected developer and supplier of ECDIS software based in Hamburg, Germany. Both SevenCs and the UKHO are delighted with the alliance, which will be beneficial to both parties, and ultimately the mariner at sea.
SevenCs is an internationally respected authority in the field of ECDIS. The company’s reputation is based on extensive advisory work for international organizations and their committees, for instance the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO), the International Maritime Organization (IMO), and the International Association of Lighthouse Authorities (IALA).
