If you refer a hunting or fishing trip to a friend and that friend books a trip through our site, you will earn an equivalent number of points as your friend. (See rules below for details).
Refer an outfitter/guide that subsequently lists a hunting or fishing trip on our site, we will credit your account with one (1) point. (See rules below for details).
Register on the site. We will randomly pick 5 registered users and credit each one with one (1) point.
For each 100 messages posted on the Forum, you will earn one (1) additional point.

Contest Rules

1) Everyone that books a hunting or fishing trip with a minimum value of $300 is entered into the drawing with 1 point. You earn extra points for each $1000 breakpoint. Trip values between $300 and $999 earn one point, trip values between $1000 and $1999 earns two points, etc. Example: You book an elk hunt for three hunters valued at $2500 per hunter. Total booking value is $7500. You will earn 8 points, or 8 entries, into the Prize Drawing.

2) The point/dollar value of a booked trip is based on the outfitter's "standard" offering, or per the description of the adventure on our website. The following will be credited toward points ONLY if they are paid as part of the total trip cost to the outfitter: lodging, meals, tags, licenses, taxes. If these are paid separately by the client, they will not be credited toward points. Trophy fees are not credited toward points. We will be the final authority on the total number of points to be credited for each booked trip.

3) All trips booked before December 31, 2005 are eligible. If deposits are required by the outfitter/guide, they must be paid no later than January 31, 2006.

4) Drawing will be conducted on February 15, 2006.

5) For hunting (or fishing) party leaders booking for multiple people, you have the option to allocate the points to your account or to the others in your party. We will credit all of the points to your account unless otherwise notified.

6) There are 2 ways to get credit for booking a trip. The preferred method is to register/login to the site and utilize the "Purchase Now" button located below the hunting or fishing trip you want to book. That will automatically make you eligible for the drawing. Note that in most cases you will need to enter the number in your party to properly book the trip. A second method is to simply notify us with an email with the details of the booking (i.e. Outfitter/Guide, Total Amount, Trip Number, etc.). Note that the site provides a way to request additional information from the outfitter/guide prior to making your decision. We recommend that you provide your phone number to facilitate communications. We also recommend that you check several references prior to making a decision. See the site's Buyer's Guide for additional resources.

7) Friend Referrals - We will provide anyone that refers a friend that books a trip with an equivalent number of points as the friend's total point credits. Simply email us (See below) with your friend's name and a short description of the booked trip, and we will credit your account accordingly after confirmation.

8) Outfitter Referrals - We will provide anyone that refers a guide/outfitter/landowner/charter captain that lists a trip on our site by December 31, 2005 with one (1) point. Simply email us (See below) with the guide/outfitter's name and we will credit your account accordingly.

9) We will randomly pick 5 registered users and credit each one with one (1) point. This will include all new users that register on the site between July 1 and December 1, 2005 AND all existing registered users that login to the site between July 1 and December 1, 2005.
