Nine passenger terminals are located around JFK International's Central Terminal Area. The terminals and corresponding parking lots are divided into four color-coded sections. The green quadrant contains Terminals 1, 2 and 3; the blue quadrant Terminals 4E and 4W; the orange quadrant Terminals 5, 6 and 7 and the red quadrant Terminals 8 and 9. This information is also posted on large color-coded signs on the approach to the central terminal area on both the Van Wyck and JFK Expressways.
Terminal 1 :
John F. Kennedy Airport's Terminal 1 serves Air Afrique, Air France, Alitalia, Austrian Airlines, Japan Airlines, Korean Air, Lufthansa, Olympic, Royal Air Maroc, Singapore Airlines, Turkish and Virgin Atlantic. It contains gates numbered 1 to 10.
Terminal 2 :
John F. Kennedy Airport's Terminal 2 serves Air Jamaica, Lacsa, Saeta Ecuador, Saudi Arabian Airlines and TACA. It contains gates numbered 19 to 30.
Terminal 3 :
John F. Kennedy Airport's Terminal 3 serves Aeroflot, Aero Mexico, All Nippon, Avianca, China Airlines, Delta, Delta Connection, Delta Express, Lacsa, Malev Hungarian, Saeta Ecuador, Saudi Arabian Airlines, South African Airways and TACA. It contains gates numbered 1 to 18.

John F. Kennedy Airport's Terminal 5 serves Air Europe, Royal Jordanian, Sun Country, TWA and TW Connection. It contains gates numbered 21 through 45.
Terminal 6 :
John F. Kennedy Airport's Terminal 6 serves America West, Jet Blue and United Airlines (SFO/LAX) Flights. It contains gates numbered 1 through 17.
Terminal 7 :
John F. Kennedy Airport's Terminal 7 serves Air Canada, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Iceland air, Lan Peru, Qantas, Sunjet International, Thai Airways, United Airlines and United Express. It contains gates numbered 1 through 12.
Terminal 8 :
John F. Kennedy Airport's Terminal 8 serves Aerolineas Argentina’s, American, Asians, Finn air, Iberia, Lot Polish, and TAM. It contains concourses A and B with gates numbered 1 through 24.
Terminal 9 :
John F. Kennedy Airport's Terminal 9 serves Aerolineas Argentina’s, American and American Eagle. It contains concourses C and D with gates numbered 30 through 49.
B] Restaurants and Shops :
There is a huge range of shops, restaurants, snack bars and service kiosks in each of the terminals at JFK International. Location maps are prominently displayed and, for those wishing to visit a business in another terminal, the red, white and blue bus service connects all of them, but during peak afternoon hours a round trip can take up to an hour.
C] Banking :
Banking facilities are situated in Terminals 3, 4 and 8 and bureaux de change kiosks are in every terminal, except Terminal 6. Cash machines (ATMs) are located in each terminal (except Terminal 6) with two in Terminals 1, 4 and 5.
