These web pages are designed to help teachers and pupils by extending their knowledge of weather and climate - in the UK and around the world. This is achieved through the provision of dedicated activities and learning materials for students and teachers throughout all levels of education.


What's new Check out our new FREE Interactive Weather Presenting Kit CD-ROM. The kit contains everything you need to teach weather in a fun hands-on way and provides an excellent opportunity to use ICT within Geography. Complete with four symbol sets, image library and links to current data and charts, the kit is perfect for budding weather presenters! Teachers' notes, suggested lessons and instructions are also provided.

All the resources are based around the requirements of the national curriculum and are designed to stimulate and extend students' knowledge of weather and climate-related topics.

Art competition results
Thank you to everyone who sent in entries for our recent 'Weather by children' art competition. We had lots of entries, and the standard was very high. Entries were displayed at the Met Office in Exeter, and staff voted for their favourites. Have you been successful?
