4x4 Hummer Experience the scenic Sea to Sky highway in a monster 4x4 private Hummer. This is a unique way to get to Whistler especially with the winter road conditions. It has racing seats with 3-points harnesses for safety and comfort, individual lights, dual climate control, raised roof with 2 sunroofs and all around roll-bar. The Hummer can seat up to nine passengers and there is ample room for ski/snowboard equipment and luggage. Express Bus The Whistler Express offers a scheduled service between Vancouver Airport and Whistler. There are 11 services a day during the winter and for your convenience some buses will stop at the Downtown Vancouver hotels. This service will drop off and pick up at most Whistler hotels. The journey time to and from Whistler and Vancouver Airport is approximately 2 ½ hours subject to road and weather conditions. Prices start at CDN $67 one way, door to door. |

Travel Directions from Vancouver Airport to Whistler From Vancouver International Airport follow directions for Highway 99 toward Vancouver and take the Granville Street exit. Stay on Granville Street for approximately 15 km's (20-25 minutes in light traffic) and continue on to the Granville Street Bridge into downtown Vancouver. Take the "Seymour Street" exit off the bridge, and follow Seymour Street to Georgia Street. Turn left onto Georgia Street and soon pass through the world-renowned Stanley Park. At the end of the park, you will come upon one of the most recognizable landmarks in British Columbia, the historic Lions Gate Bridge, built in 1933. Once over the bridge, follow the well-indicated signs leading you to Highway 99. The Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99) ranks as one of the most scenic roadways in the world. The spectacular sights make the 100 minute drive from the Lions Gate Bridge to Whistler Village will seem like mere minutes. Sparkling Howe Sound to the left, dramatic cliff faces immediately to the right, and glacial peaks off in the distance will make it an unforgettable experience. |
