our Volunteer Program. We know that behind SLO County Parks'
successes lay the efforts of our volunteers. County Parks
currently logs over 50,000 volunteer hours per year. In fact,
one of the keys to our success in serving the community is
helping the community to serve themselves through volunteer
activities. Volunteer participation is absolutely crucial
to the strength of our organization and helps form the foundation
of community representation in our work. This connection plays
an integral role when striving to provide a high quality experience
for all park visitors.
