U.S. Bank renews popular ‘FLW Outdoors Pro Fishing’ game “FLW Outdoors Pro Fishing” game presented by US Bank

After a year-long hiatus, the widely popular “FLW Outdoors Pro Fishing” game is back. Produced jointly by U.S. Bank and FLW Outdoors, the interactive onscreen computer fishing game will once again offer players a chance to test their angling savvy in a virtual format on FLWOutdoors.com. The first tournament, Edition One, begins immediately and runs through March 8, 2006. Edition Two runs from March 9, 2006 through Apr. 9, 2006. Finally, the Championship Edition runs from April 10, 2006 through June 30, 2006.

Having recently retired as a professional wildlife biologist, and having many retired friends who have spent their professional lives in the outdoors, I am amazed by the amount of sun damage on many fishing pros. I would like to think that FLW Outdoors and its participants will continue to promote steps on how to avoid skin cancer. However, it's clear that some of the professionals, who many times bear resemblance to raccoons after a long day of fishing, apparently have not gotten the word.
