Flung Outdoor Center - your one stop for adventure! For over 30 years, Far
Flung Adventures and Texas River Expeditions have been the leading outfitters
for those looking for quick, fun escapes in the Big Bend.
We recently
joined forces in the creation of the Far Flung Outdoor Center to provide the
active traveler a one stop "shop" for all things Big Bend. Our fares range from
easy canyon floats, to geology Jeep tours of the backcountry. We have special
adventures for families, stargazers, music lovers, wine tasters and food
connoisseurs.

River Trips
The Rio Grande,
flowing through Big Bend country, is Texas' premier wilderness playground.
Known for its scenic beauty rather than big "whitewater", a float down the Rio
is the perfect way for folks of all ages to experience this spectacular country
up close and personal.
Five major and several smaller canyons make up
the 300 miles of the Big Bend river corridor, all preserved for posterity in
the Big Bend National Park and Big Bend State Park. Some canyons can be seen in
a single day, others require a longer journey.

Jeep Tours
Join our guides
as they explore the rich and vast territory of the Big Bend! From spectacular
sunsets to intriguing geological formations, our tours offer a close encounter
with some remarkable landscapes.
Our Jeep adventures are highly
interpretive and offer the visitor an opportunity to learn more about the Big
Bend. Trips leave daily from our office just outside the west entrance of Big
Bend National Park.
