Road Sense Campaign
Welcome to the carrentals.co.uk Road Sense 2006 campaign.
Road Sense is designed to help improve safety on the roads for all road users, but this year we have a particular focus on female drivers. With more and more reports of Road Bullying, many women have been telling us of their own experiences, and now we want to try to help.
Through the campaign we hope to build awareness of the various concerns surrounding road safety and encourage action to help prevent issues such as aggressive and dangerous driving.
News & Advice
As part of the campaign we’ve run a major survey to gather feedback on the experiences and attitudes of around 1,000 of our customers. The results are fascinating and you can read more about them on the Survey Results section of this website.
Elsewhere you can download a range of driving tips, covering everything from personal safety to driving when pregnant and road safety tips for children.
For Schools
Especially for schools we are offering our free reflective stickers to help improve child safety during the dark nights. This offer proved incredibly popular last year with over 50,000 sent out, so make sure your school signs up to be sent their stickers.
Special Offers
We’ve also got some fantastic offers with companies including Carphone Warehouse and UK Open Learning. All are offering a special offer, some exclusive to female drivers, to help improve road knowledge and safety — take a look at the Special Offers section of this site.
We hope you find these pages useful, however if you have any comments or feedback please let us know by e-mailing feedback@carrentals.co.uk.
Best wishes
