Brandy and Barney came to live with us on September 8, 2001. Although they are not brother and sister, they have been together so long that we did not have the heart to split them up. |
|
Barney is quite a character. He is typical
of a big brother. He teases Brandy by hiding his chewies and toys, then barks at her and
takes his stuff back when she readily finds them. He loves Alex, our 17 year old and
sleeps in his room at night. Barney loves to play fetch the ball in the backyard. We
finally taught him to bring them back to us. Showing us that he is truly the Alpha male, when his doggie cousin Coco (a beautiful, nine month old Chocolate Lab) came for a visit. We think that Coco is going to have to visit often so that Barney will learn that Coco is part of the family. Barney was 5 yrs. old in May, 2001. |
| Brandy is a pure-breed with papers. Brandy
is a sweet little girl. She is very loving and "Loves to Eat". She is a tad
over-weight so she get's an extra walk every day, weather permitting. She also gets
diet-food, which she eats as readily as she does regular food. Brandy loves to sleep on 'Daddy's" chair. It seems the most comfortable. Brandy will be 5 yrs. old on November 23, 2001 |
