Britain's National Rail Company provides
passenger rail
service from Kent to towns and cities in the United Kingdom.
Train schedule and fare information is available on their website.
Although passenger train service in the United Kingdom is relatively
expensive there are numerous discount fares available if you purchase return
tickets, travel at non-peak periods or use various Railcards. The
Network Railcard, for example can save you 30% and is available for rail
service between London and destinations in Kent.
In addition to rail services within the United Kingdom, train service is
also available to Europe via the Chunnel (English
Channel Tunnel).
Live
train departure information is available on National Rail's website.
