George Z. Lefton, a Hungarian immigrant, founded his company in 1941. A collector of fine porcelain, he turned his love into a company that is known worldwide for it's porcelain, giftware, and collectibles.
Lefton's Historic American Lighthouse Collection began in 1992, with 14 pieces. These works have been very popular with lighthouse lovers all over, becoming a favorite collectibles choice.
Each lighthouse is researched and designed to reflect the true colors and details of the original. The full sized illuminated lighthouses come with foil embossed hangtags, describing their unique location and history.
A pre-set number of pieces in a collection, available only during that year are Limited Editions. These do not have hangtags, they are numbered and have a medallion embedded in their base. You also get a Certificate of Authenticity with them.
