Deposit of Margin Funds

Step 1. Instruct your bank to transfer funds for your account

Step 2. Complete the FXTrade Wire Transfer Form:

Once your bank has processed your wire transfer request, please complete FXTrade Wire Transfer Form to let us know funds are arriving under your name and for your FXTrade account. Please note: if this form is not completed, your wire transfer deposit may take up to 3 weeks to be processed.

OANDA Service Charge:$0.

Bank Service Charge: this varies depending on the number of intermediary banks involved in the transfer and is outside of OANDA's control. For example, if you do not take care of the service charges when wiring the funds, the receiving bank may deduct a service charge directly from the incoming funds. This is a bank service charge and is not applied by OANDA.

Processing Time: Wire transfers are credited to your FXTrade account the day of receipt. Wire transfers are typically (over 80% of cases) received by OANDA within 1-2 business days.

USD accounts only

Checks drawn from a U.S. bank may be used for margin deposits. Certified, Cashier's or Official checks can be obtained from banks other than U.S. banks. The funds for all checks have to be in U.S. Dollars. International checks (checks drawn from a non-U.S. bank) are currently not accepted.

Bank Service Charge:$0.

NSF or Returned checks: If your deposit check is returned, your account will be suspended and all positions closed. You will also be charged an additional fee of $20.00 which will be deducted from your trading account. International checks are returned without processing.

Processing Time: OANDA will send you notification via email when your check is received and processed. Personal Checks may take up to 5 business days from the date of receipt to clear, as they must clear both the client's side and OANDA's.

USD accounts only

You may transfer funds in USD only to your FXTrade account held in USD using PayPal. Just click on the PayPal Payments button below and follow the steps to transfer funds to your account. Please be sure to include your FXTrade username and account number in the Special Instructions of PayPal payment.

Service charge US PayPal account holders: A service fee of $0.30 per transfer plus 2.9% of the total amount transferred will be deducted from your margin deposit. International (Non-US) PayPal account holders: A service fee of $0.30 per transfer plus 3.9% of the total amount transferred will be deducted from your margin deposit.

Processing Time: If you are a "Verified" PayPal account holder, your deposits using PayPal will be processed within one (1) business day of receipt. Payments of more than US $100 will not be accepted for "Unverified" PayPal account holders. We strongly recommend that you verify your PayPal account to prevent any delays in processing your deposits.
