It is important that you report companies that deceptively distribute spyware to the appropriate authorities. Reporting cases of spyware could help to prevent others from becoming victims.
Spyware programs are very tricky and elusive, therefore merely reporting the problem to your ISP or computer manufacturer may not alleviate the symptoms. Follow these steps to prevent spyware purveyors from proliferating their invasive techniques.
- Check with your Internet service provider to see what tools they offer to combat spyware.
