Quailty Grade Essential Oils

We purchase our essential oils either directly from growers or through known sourcing agents.

Purpose
Pure essential oils taken from plants are described as their 'life force" - essential to the plants' biological process. Therefore, only the highest quality essential oils should be used in aromatherapy for you to receive its full thereaputic benefits.

Synthetic oils will lack all the natural elements - the life-force, that make essential oils so valuable therapeutically. Even some essential oils found in grocery stores can be adulterated with chemicals and synthetics.

Choosing and Blending Oils
First decide what needs you hope to achieve. Then create an oil blend by mixing the appropriate essential oils with a carrier oil.

The general rule is that a little is best.

For example, you can make your own massage oil by adding an essential oil to carrier oil such as sweet almond oil or grapeseed oil. Usually 15 drops of essential oil per 8oz carrier oil.

Take Precautions
Some essential oils should be avoided if you are pregnant, suffer from high blood pressure or have epilepsy

It is also important to follow all safety precautions regarding essential oils. Depending on the severity of the health conditions it might be worth considering an appointment with an aromatherapist.
