You need two types of credit to quickly rebuild your credit score:

Installment: Auto loans, student loans or mortgages
Revolving: Credit cards or home equity lines of credit

Look for the following:
No application fee and reasonable annual fee.

Reports to the major credit bureaus. Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.

Converts to an unsecured card after 12-18 months of on-time payments.

thanks! my bankruptcy wss discharged a couple months ago and I am looking for ways to rebuild. I got a credit card offer, but there are a ton of fees included with it, First Premier Credit. Have you heard of that company? Do you suggest any other companies I can go with to get a small balance credit card?

I appreciate all the advice and imput I've received from this site and from Debt Samaritains as a whole.
