A ton of tools and accessories are in Windows and its just a matter of knowing where to find them and install them, for instance Quick View, , Sound Recorder, Back-up, Heck you can even support the Turkish Language! A ton of useful, and some not so useful (they just take up space!) tools! Plus at the bottom of the page you can learn how to make a Start-up disk. This is a must for any user to do!

First go to your Startbutton.gif (1048 bytes)  then click on "Settings" then the  "Control Panel" Then go to Add and Remove Programs" and the window should look like this. Note the 3 Tabs at the top of the page, "Install/Uninstall", "Windows Setup", and Startup Disk". Click on the Windows Setup Tab.

addremoveprop.gif (12664 bytes) Use the Scrolling buttons to see your other choices of tools
Note some of the boxes are gray with a check mark and some are white with a check mark. The Gray ones mean that I have only a few things selected in this group and there are more options I can choose from.
The White ones mean I have all the items selected in that group. To delete or add some other tools, just double click on the words themselves, such as Multimedia or Communications, remember, not on the box but the words themselves and you should end up with this screen below.

Now you can check the new tools you want or uncheck them to make room. Its your choice. When you are finished just click "OK" and it'll return you to the above screen, and now the word "Apply" is lit up, just click "Apply" and your done! But While you are there, one very important thing one should always do and that is to have a "Start-up Disk"! I can't stress this one enough!

startup.gif (5529 bytes) Just plop a floppy in the A: Drive and hit Create Disk and off ya go! I hope ya never have to use it, but for those times a Tech may ask you if you have a Start-Up Disk, you can now say YES!!! I DO!! You should be making a Startup disc every time you make changes or adding programs to your computer. For your system congfigurations change each time you add ao remove a program.
