My Approach To Wedding Photography
Your wedding is a unique story from start to finish, and I will provide you with a stunning and timeless memento that will be treasured in your family for years to come.
The secret to great wedding photography is to capture the spirit and essence of your remarkable day.
To do this I use an intimate but relaxed documentary style, and I try to keep formal photographic poses to a minimum. I’m unobtrusive and calm, and working in this way allows me to create a step by step record of the emotions, the ceremonies, and the unique moments that are part of this special day. With so much excitement and nerves, and so many people to speak to, weddings can pass by in a bit of a blur. I’m there as an observer, and my experience as a wedding photographer helps me to capture many of the details and moments you may not even have noticed at the time.

Commercial & Press Photography
The goal of my commercial photography is to blend the creation of a quality image with the requirements of my client.
7 years experience working as a press photographer has given me a broad technical base. I can adapt to suit a varied brief and changing situation. Add to this my own creative vision, and I have often been able to exceed the demanding standards clients expect.
My commercial photography is extremely important to me. To date my clients have come from the financial, technological, legal, property, advertising, retail, entertainment, marketing, and motoring industries.

Portrait Photography
Most of my portrait photographs are either taken at your home or on location, without the restrictions of a studio. A real setting can add so much to the feel of the final image, and using a familiar place is more relaxing for all the family.
For the studio ‘look’ I have all the necessary portable flash equipment.
I like to produce clean, clear images via a subtle, thoughtful approach. This common thread ties all my portraits together. As a result, my portraits are modern, relaxed, and very natural.
The photo-shoot itself lasts about an hour. This time tends to pass quickly as most of the planning has already been done. I work calmly, and always try to make the whole photography experience relaxing, memorable, and fun.
During the time I’m with you hope to capture 20-40 stunning images, but every session is unique and it could be more. These will then be presented to you on a high resolution CD for you to keep.
This leaves you completely free to print at home, email to friends, view at anytime or even have a go at some creative digital manipulation yourself. Of course I offer high quality prints as any photographer should, please see my Portrait Pricing section.
