GARDEN HOURS EXTENDED
NOTICE: March 1 through May 31, all gardens will be open from 9 am to 6 pm.

 
SECOND ANNUAL ARCHAEOLOGY FIELD SCHOOL EXPERIENCE TO BE OFFERED AT CRAVEN COMMUNITY COLLEGE Craven Community College will offer field school experience May 22-June 23, 2006, as a summer session 3 hour credit course. The field school, ANT 298, will be held in collaboration with East Carolina University Archaeology. Class will be held both on site and in the Tryon Palace Archaeology Lab from 10:10 am to 1:20 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The archaeological site has historic and potential prehistoric significance for the New Bern area. For more information, please contact Caroline Whitehead, 638-7305, at Craven Community College. Students may register through Craven Community College the week of April 24-28 or on May 18. Curriculum and special interest students are welcome.
