Off road driving is the ultimate way to test your 4X4, and takes real skill and a lot of bottle at times. The best way to get into it is to take lessons at a off roading centre and join a off roading club. They very friendly and willing to share experience, and you even take the whole family with you. With lots of organized events and gatherings you will always be able to get out on the tracks and trails. If you have never been before check out the guide to off road centres in the UK. So you are ready to have a crack @ off road driving. If you take a lesson you will be taught by qualified instructors who will explain the basic driving techniques before you go on a track or route set out by the centre which will usually include plenty of water, mud and steep inclines. Great fun ! |
