Although the training is based on significant research and case studies, all participants are encouraged to apply the learning to REAL goals, challenges or problems. We leave the theory in the textbooks and focus on practical applications that are important to you or your organization. Participants are given the option to work alone on individual needs or to collaborate in teams during the training. Prework and coaching are used in advance to prepare your mind to make the most of the training.

Learn proven innovation processes, tools and techniques
The Accelerated Innovation Process is based on decades of research and analysis of over 100 models related to innovation, creativity and problem solving. During the training, participants apply the 4-step process, summarized in the KnowBrainer tool, to their goals. The four steps include: (1) Investigate Needs, (2) Create Ideas, (3) Evaluate Solutions, and (4) Activate Plans.

The Accelerated Innovation Process inspires creativity “and” innovation by using clear, logical and visual language that is easy to teach, train and sustain. Participants are introduced to a menu of techniques that relate to each step of the process, including FlashThinking™, Questionary™, the Idea Exchange™, Quotemplation™, Picture Triggers™, Movie Minds™, SCCAMPERR and Fast Action Planning™. Several of the techniques can be used with planning worksheets.

Get valuable innovation tools, eTools, & worksheets
Research shows that “lack of tools” is a primary block to creativity and innovation. Innovators want more TOOLS, and less books, binders and decks. Traditional 3-ring binders are seldom used after training and become bookshelf trophies that collect dust. Our innovative training materials equip learners with real hand-held tools in a variety of formats that can be easily and frequently used after the training. The compact KnowBrainer tool summarizes the entire Accelerated Innovation Process into a portable tool that can be taken anywhere and does not require computer hardware or software. The tool actually fits in a pocket, briefcase or purse.

Receive innovation coaching before, during and after training
Skilled coaches that fully understand innovation are rare. Innovation Coaching™ is offered after all of Innovation Marketers training and facilitations to make sure people activate, implement and follow-through on plans. Our Innovation Coaches apply the best tools, models and processes from the coaching and innovation fields. The training actually begins BEFORE you arrive at the Thinkubator or the training facility. Participants complete Prework and readings in advance. Advance phone calls with experienced Innovation Coaches are supported by internet-based visuals to make sure everyone arrives equipped for learning and innovating. During the training, Innovation Coaches are available for individual and team guidance. Post training phone calls with Innovation Coaches are available on regular schedules after the training.

Experience innovation in thought-provoking environments
Accelerated Innovation training can be conducted on-site and in traditional locations such as conference rooms. However, the training is most effective when offered in an experiential and thought-provoking environment.

Public training seminars are held every month at Innovation Marketers Thinkubator located near downtown Ann Arbor Michigan. Private or in-house training can be scheduled at the Thinkubator or brought to your location. If training is conducted at your facility, trainers are encouraged to bring a variety of resources to enhance the meeting space. However, if your group is conservative or traditional, the training can be offered in more conventional settings.
