More Lake Tahoe Information
The attractions of hitting the slopes or sailing across Lake Tahoe is that this means you can experience Tahoe in a variety of ways. Sailing cruises are available, both on a large boat with dozens of others or in a more intimate setting of around five people. Alternatively, if you prefer to sail yourself, there are schools offering lessons in sailing. And while all the ski resorts around Lake Tahoe provide access to downhill skiing and snowboarding, some also provide facilities for cross-country skiing and night skiing. That is right; resorts on the north shore, including Squaw Valley, Sugar Bowl, and Northstar-at-Tahoe allow you to turn that wonderful day of skiing into a wonderful night as well!
