Description
The VM series of mini monitors is designed to offer extremely
accurate, high-resolution sound reproduction from a compact loudspeaker. The VM-2 utilizes
one custom 5¼" woven carbon fiber cone midbass driver and one 1" aluminum alloy
dome tweeter. A high quality crossover circuit (utilizing polypropylene and mylar
capacitors and heavy air-core inductors) and thorough internal noise control contribute to
the VM-2’s superb driver integration and low distortion. The cabinet is constructed
of 1" and 1 1/8" MDF, proportioned and contoured to combine optimum sonic and
aesthetic results. The cabinets are finished on all sides with cherry wood veneer and
available in a durable natural or red finish. A grille is supplied.

Applications
The VM’s may be used as a stereo pair or in a
complete multi-channel application. Magnetic shielding is available for use near video or
computer monitors. The VM-2’s are well-suited for small to medium sized rooms and,
when the input is limited to above 50 to 80 Hz (as when using a signal processor and
additional subwoofer), will offer outstanding performance in much larger environments.
Recommended amplifiers for full-range use should supply 40 to 150 watts of clean power.
