Justilien is responsible for the management of the Marketing and Link
Development Department. The focus of this department is to secure traditional
relevant links and advertising space that drives quality traffic to client
websites. This is done by traditional link building and more advanced
techniques such as Pre-Sell Pages (also referred to as content pages,
content hosting, and article pages). Justilien's team is focused on building
quality traffic to client websites. The targeted goals are always long-term
traffic that converts to increased sales year after year. He states this
is the reason they have current clients who have been with them since
1999.
In his previous positions, Justilien has worked for two fortune 500 companies
and several regional companies. He was responsible for management of four
gourmet food/cafe stores of a regional chain. This included overall profitability,
purchasing, operations and HR. He states it was essential to find new
methods to drive new customers into the store to increased sales. This
was achieved by constant experimentation, thinking outside the box and
never settling for the status quo.
He remarked it was extremely important to also focus on existing customers.
Justilien says "If a customer has fifty dollars to spend on products
and they only spend ten at your store. That is forty dollars they will
spend at another retailer. Businesses need to find ways to get existing
customers to spend more and visit more frequently; this will result in
a dramatic yearly increase in overall revenue base on your current number
of existing customers." He states retailers, brick-n-mortar or online,
must understand their customers buying habits and the opportunity that
is not being seized.
Justilien became interested in Internet Marketing after he discovered
the power of Search Engine Optimization on a commercial website he built
and manages. Since then he has been passionate about the industry and
joined We Build Pages.
