Why is "Who You Link To" important?
We believe that the search engines want "good resource sites" to be ranked high. One way to help your site become a good resource is by linking out to relevant, related, authority, expert sites within your sites' topics.
We all know that "Backlinks" are extremely important to your website's rankings,
but many of us forget to think beyond backlinks and into linking neighborhoods.
Good Resource tend to belong to a focused community of websites.
To determine a community of websites some of the following items are taken into account:
* Who links to you (your backlinks)
* Who links to those who link to you
* Which sites have common backlinks to yours
* Who You Link To
* What topical neighborhood your sites linking structure lies within
