Authentic Document IDs allow you to "digitally
notarize" your BREW applications by creating proof of an electronic
document's state at a particular point in time.
With an Authentic Document ID installed on
your computer, you can access VeriSign's Authentic Document Service:
by simply right-clicking your document, you create a digital receipt
containing a fingerprint of the electronic file, the date and time the
file was digitally signed, the identity of the person that signed the
document, and VeriSign's independent verification.

First time buyers need to download
the Personal Trust Agent (PTA) and ActiveX Control before
applying for and obtaining an Authentic Document ID.
Installation: You must apply for, pick up, and install your
VeriSign Authentic Document ID on the same computer with the same version
of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Note: Your BREW Authentic Document ID and the unused digital
notarizations expire one year from date of ID issuance.
