Starting in 1995 with just four employees, a modest amount of venture capital, and a passion to create a bit of history, VeriSign has grown to become a global leader in intelligent infrastructure services. Since its inception ten years ago, VeriSign has held a singular mission: to enable and protect all forms of interactions over voice and data networks. From its roots in Internet security and authentication, VeriSign has continued to expand its portfolio of intelligent infrastructure services to address the accelerating revolution in digital communications, commerce, and content.

But the past 10 years were only the beginning. Today, we process over 14-billion Internet transactions, 3-billion telephony signals, and $100-million of e-commerce transactions. Every single day. In addition, VeriSign is busy building next-generation service offerings for emerging opportunities in RFID-enabled supply chains, VoIP technology, and digital content distribution over mobile and broadband networks.

And as the Internet and telecommunications networks continue to expand globally, becoming ever more important to business, commerce, and communications, VeriSign will be there, enabling the growth and evolution of the world’s digital infrastructure.
