The owner are Laura W. Murdoch and  Hans W. Brus immigrants from a small apple growing village called Lummen in the fruit-growing province of Limburg in Belgium. While on a trip to Canada in1996 Hans was visiting Quebec and Ontario when he saw the land nearTillsonburg, with its rolling hills and a winding creek meandering through the propertry He bid on the land the same evening. The move to Canada was made in April of 1997.

Brus lays claim to been the smallest winery in Canada. They produce only three wines. A Vidal 13% smooth evening dormanter, 2. Our Apple Iced sweeter than kisses wine, 3. Apple Cherry 13.5%

Besides wine the Orchard produces Fruits and Vegetables, apples, pears, sweet corn, pumpkins, honey, maple syrup, statues and bird baths. In the fall there is the annual pumpkin-shoot, hay-rides and corn-maze festival.

Owners Grace and Angelo Locilento fulfilled a life long dream to produce quality wines. The winery located in Woodbridge uses grapes harvested from the Niagara to produce their VQA wines. Along with Winemaker They are noted for their VQA Marechal Foch, Cilento's Cabernet, Riesling and Riesling Icewines.
They boast one of the largest cellars for barrel aging in Ontario. The walls are painted with life-sized murals of old traditional European winemaking activities. A new winery located in Toronto. The custom designed two-storey 36,000 square foot facility houses Cilento's winemaking and bottling process, in addition to a retail shop and the winery's administration offices

Owners Gabe and Roseanna Magnotta started their winery in 1989 selling directly to consumers. Their wines have won over 700 medals, including the Black Diamond Trophy They are just one of many Canadian wineries that made the world stand up and take notice. Robert Henn is the winemaker. The Magnottas believe in good wine good food, good companionship and laughter.
They have had a remarkable growth currently operating wineries at, Vaughan,Mississauga,Kitchener,Scarborough, and Beamsville. Theses are all franchises.

The winery is know for its Vidal Icewine but it promises to release a VIN DE GLACE Eau de Vie which they call the most expensive ever produced without aging.

Magnotta Winery Corporation owns approximately 180 acres of vineyards in the Niagara Peninsula, as well as 351 acres in the Maipo Valley in Chile.

Rob Quai and his wife Lisa operate this 20 acre winery in Elgin county 5km from Lake Erie. The location doesn't quite fit into the other wine regions. However in mid 1970's Redi Quai planted a vineyard. Quai du Vin produces over 90,000 bottles per year and has celebrated its "Millionth Bottle" in July, 2002.
Their philosophy is to produce good quality wines at reasonable prices using simple winemaking techniques.
They work hard doing it themselves. They also produce wine jellies.

Rush Creek Wines offers a wide variety of wines, from dinner wines to dessert wines, meads (honey wine), maple wine, and very dry wines - they have them all. Using only 100% pure fruit from which the wine is named, no grape base is used.

All Rush Creek wines are fully Kosher certified for Pass-Over.

Located in the middle of the lake Shore wine region George Smith and Mary Jane Smith and grew grapes on the family farm befre deciding to open their own winery in 2005.
They offer reds, whites and premium fruit dessert wines. All wines are produced on site with farm grown grapes or fruit.. Their 2004 Rondeau Red sold out within 3 months of release. It was a gamay/merlot blend that paired very easily with a number of foods.

Passionate about good food and fine wine, Bill and Marilyn Redelmeier decided a winery would be a perfect addition to their successful market garden and farm. So they converted their 100 year old barn into a winery.
Together with winemaker Derek Barnett they developed wines to complete with the worlds best. Located in Maples north of Toronto, Southbrook began producing wine in 1992. Their Framboise wines have captured the world and can be found at Harrods in England

Southbrook Chardonnay 1994 was served when Canada's Prime Minister hosted Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh, June 28 1997.

The work of producing fine quality wines began in the 2000 under co owners and brothers Stephen and John Fancsy ; the first vintage been 2001. The structural building will not be completed until 2005.

Viewpointe Estate Winery is made up of three parcels of land that produce a variety of vines, each influenced by the nature of its geography. When mature, the combined 42 acres will produce 12,000 to 14,000 cases. At capacity, the production will be 25,000 cases. The location has conditions favourable to high quality wine grape production (soil and climate) as well as a breathtaking vista situated within a well recognized viticultural area.

The new winery (completion date 2005) will provide a breath taking view of the lake , providing culinary venue (instruction) and rental hall.
