MANUFACTURER'S SIZING CHARTS
Heads come in all sizes, and in a surprising variety of shapes. Although high quality hats are adaptable, and will usually conform to differences in shape with a little wearing, it is essential that the size be correct for the head.
Please Note:
The guides below are based on industry standards. As with all manufactured goods there is some variance with different manufacturers and styles. We are not responsible if you order the wrong size. Hat size varies with hair style, weight loss/gain, and age. If you order the wrong size, we charge for reshipping, please see our returns and exchanges policy at:

Please tell us your current correct hat size.If you have not purchased a new hat recently, please measure your head.
To determine your hat size, measure the widest part of your head, keeping the tape level and firm, across the temples and above the eyebrow ridges, to the nearest 1/8 inch. If a flexible tape measure is not available we suggest a piece of string or such then staightening it out against a ruler. The manufacturer Shady Brady suggests:
When Purchasing a hat, it is most important to measure your head size correctly. After finding the correct measurement, please use size designation not the measurement in inches (Example 19 - 3/8 " was measured. Size M should be selected.)
1 . Wrap the ribbon around the back of the head and bring ends around to the front. Pinch the ends together at your forehead.
2. Adjust position of ribbon to trace the exact line that the sweatband of a hat would follow around your head. (Usually lower in the back than in the front).
3. Tighten up ribbon and hold snug by pinching together at front.
You will want the ribbon to be as tight as a snug fitting hat. If ribbon rides up on the back of your head, once tightened, reposition the back half so the it rests lower, and thus will not move up once tightened.
4. Once you have a good fit slide the ribbon off your head while still maintaining your pinch grip Mark lines where the two ends come together.
5. Measure the distance between the two lines and write it down.
6. Repeat the above steps and check your new measurement against the first. Once you get a consistent measurement use it for ordering.
Check the size chart given below. For in-between measurements use the next size up.
