Fionnuala Downhill – CEO and President

Fionnuala (Fionn) Downhill is the Chief Executive Officer and President of Elixir Systems. Established in February 2003 they are a boutique agency which provides a customized approach for individual clients. They are experts in the field of organic search engine optimization (SEO). They provide customized online marketing plans using organic SEO, paid advertising, and online public relations. They have developed their own proprietary software to track ROI and reduce CPA. She believes that the cornerstone of Elixir Systems is delivering value and excellent customer service.

After completing her management education, Fionn specialized in training. She received advanced training qualifications with the prestigious Guardian Business Service and the Industrial Institute of Great Britain and worked with organizations such as British Airways, and Price Waterhouse.

Fionn is very involved in the advancement of search engine marketing and is a strong advocate for best business practices in the industry. She is the chair of the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO) Education Committee. She was a member of the working group that launched the Search Engine Marketing Association of North America (SMA-NA) fist membership drive and board of directors election.

Dylan Downhill - CIO and Technical Director

Elixir System’s Dylan Downhill is a renowned expert on the Internet and search engine optimization. He has been developing web sites on the Internet since 1997 and immediately began to optimize these sites to help their rankings in the search engines. Since that time he has built an in-depth knowledge of the SEO industry.

Dylan formed Elixir Systems to fulfill the growing need for his search engine optimization and online marketing skills. Downhill has assembled a group of talented and hard-working individuals that provide organizations with the SEO expertise they need to develop a strong online presence.

Before founding Elixir Systems, Dylan was the manager of software development for a major hotel reservation systems organization. He was instrumental in developing their online presence. During this time he helped their online reservations increase by 1500%. Prior to this he owned and operated a successful IT consultancy business in England.

Dylan is a skilled web site developer and programmer. He has created a variety of sites in ASP, PHP, Perl, Coldfusion, Visual Basic, VB, with SQL Server 2000 and MySQL. His extensive experience with e-commerce ranges from small sites, to those with catalogs of over 4,000 items.

James Peggie – Director of Marketing/Communications

As the Elixir System’s Director of Marketing and Communications, James is responsible for the implementation and management of corporate marketing and communication strategies. This involves marketing planning, brand strategy, public relations and corporate communications. He has extensive experience in website content writing, corporate blogs, newsletter writing, press release and article optimization and online reputation management.

James has 9 years of Internet related marketing and communications experience and has been with Elixir Systems since April 2004. Before joining the Elixir team he worked for Lynk Software, Inc, a developer of customer relationship management software, in a marketing and communications position. Prior to that he owned and ran an eCommerce business. He has published articles in numerous publications. James holds a Master of Business Administration degree.

Warren Pattison – Director of Search

As Director of Search, Warren is responsible for the development and management of our client's search engine strategies encompassing both paid search and organic search.

Along with Elixir's corporate leaders, Warren is focused on developing results oriented paid and organic search marketing programs to help clients increase brand visibility, broaden reach and maximize client’s return on investment.

Warren brings a diverse background in both information technology and business development to Elixir Systems. Before joining Elixir Systems, Warren spent four years successfully running two businesses one of which was a lead generation company where he gained his experience in web and business development, search engine optimization and search engine marketing. Warren is Elixir System’s paid search expert and holds a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology.
