Awesome Cod fishing in Montauk, NY
You may not be able to drink the water the fish are swimming in but they're still good eating!

Group shot on Viking Starship

Captain Steven returned tonight from a FANTASTIC day of fishing on a special charter with a boat load of Captree fishing crew. The day started out with COD on every drop - slow beginning but with a PHENOMENAL ending! You can tell by the fantastic pics in the gallery! Capt. Steven pulled a rabit out of his hat putting WELL OVER 100 COD on the boat in the last hour and a half of fishing - 20 cod landed were between 15 and 28 pounds, most fish weighed in between 8 and 12 pounds. There were lost of smiling faces onboard. Mavros Bennis had a 27.5 pound cod and a fantastic 8 keeper cod. WE had between 135 and 155 keeper cod on the boat. We had 20 pollock between 8 and 12 pounds and over 50 ling in the mix. Mike Thein of East Islip had a 27 pound cod for first place in the pool. Second place went to Eric Klein also of East Islip with 7 keeper cod weighing up to 24.3 pounds.
