Personal finance experts team up to highlight identity
theft, fraud and privacy issues.
San Francisco, CA (February 6,
2006) – In recognition of National Consumer Protection Week, Credit.com’s
team of personal finance experts will be focusing on identity theft, fraud
and privacy topics all week. This is the eighth year that consumer advocacy

Protection Week. Information for consumers and reporters is available at www.credit.com.
“Among true identity theft, account take-over, phishing and pharming
scams and other fraudulent schemes, it can be a treacherous world,”
said Credit.com President, CEO Adam Levin. “Credit.com’s goal

risk of becoming a victim and learn how to effectively deal with creditors,
credit reporting bureaus, government agencies and utilities in the event of
victimization.”
