JACKSONVILLE, Fla. The Florida Gators, the third-seed in the Minneapolis Regional, has beaten 14th-seed South Alabama in a first round N-C-A-A game, 76-to-50. Lee Humphrey of the Gators led the attack with 20 points, including 12 on four three-pointers in the second half.

Florida now has a six game winning streak and has advanced to play eleventh-seed Wisconsin-Milwaukee, an upset winner over sixth-seed Oklahoma.
